You've seen us in concert. You've seen us around town.  Now you, or someone you know,
can sing with us!

The Triangle Gay Men's Chorus  is accepting new singers in all voice parts - Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone, and Bass.

Simply call us at (919) 881-2108 or email us at membership@tgmchorus.org to get the ball rolling. You can check out our website at www.tgmchorus.org/join for more information.

When you contact us, we'll give you information about our Open Auditions this Tuesday, August 9th in Raleigh and our Open Rehearsal in Durham on Tuesday, August 23rd.

And just in case you were wondering why you should join TGMC we bring you ...
Top 10 reasons to join the
Triangle Gay Men's Chorus
  1. Your mother already knows. Really. And when she sees you on stage, she'll be really, really proud. And so will you.
  2. See the world.  TGMC has traveled to exotic places like Miami/South Beach, Montreal ... even Carrboro and "Green-vegas"! And in June 2012, we're off to Denver, Colorado to participate in the international gay/lesbian choral festival - along with 3,000 other singers from across the world.
  3. Now, change the world!  If you want to sing, join a chorus. If you want to change the world, join a gay men's chorus.
  4. Sing the most amazing music. TGMC's repertoire ranges from popular and jazz to classical, folk, and showtunes.
  5. Back rubs. Mmmm.  Our rehearsals often start with one.
  6. Find your mojo!  Performing is a huge confidence builder, and self-confidence is
    oh-so-sexy!
  7. Friendship.  TGMC is made up of great guys from all over the Triangle.  You'll find a warm welcome, plenty of hugs, and lots of laughter.
  8. Inspiration. Set an example through community leadership and sartorial elegance (see reason number 9.)
  9. Damn!  You look good!  Ain't nothin' like a tuxedo to make you look just plain delectable.
  10. It's low-pressure. REALLY!  Think you have to be an "Opera Diva" to sing in a chorus?  Nah! Our audition process is very relaxed, and no prepared selection is required. Our members come from all types of musical backgrounds, and many had never sung with a chorus before.

P.S.- you don't have to be gay to sing with TGMC.

You just have to be a male, age 18 and over, who loves to sing.  And, the only "recruiting" we do is for new, enthusiastic singers!

We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,
