Top post: Update on chained dog on Montague street

I just spoke with Officer Hurley at Animal Control - informative and very nice. She explained as much of the ongoing situation as she could. The woman who owns the dog is going thru some transitions right now and is doing the best she can evidently. According to Officer Hurley, the woman is feeding and watering him/her. The one thing she needs right now that we might provide is a dog house for an 80-pound take dog. If anyone reading this can supply that dog house, that would be terrific! If not, we could try to find a decent one online and get a few people to chip in for it. Or if any carpenters are out there that can cobble one together, I will arrange payment for it. I told the officer to let me know if anything else is needed and I would pursue it as best I can. Please let me hear from you if you can help.
