It was out taking in the sun every day and would slither under the walkway every time I came out my front door. I was terrified and called Advanced Wildlife Removal in Raleigh. They responded and had someone at my house in less than 2 hours...set a humane glue trap and covered it so I wouldn't have to see the snake when it was trapped. They checked the trap several times and were beginning to think the snake was out for lunch when the trap was set (and it couldn't get back in). They finally got the snake on the glue trap. She was at least 36" long and very pregnant, and in their observation, a really big girl with lots of babies coming soon, They took her to a remote location where she has adequate food and water sources, but far away from where people live, so she and her babies can contribute to the balance of nature without people having to encounter them.
