I read through four posts just now that were negative and judgmental, disparaging and often rude. So I decided to share something magical. My daughter is on the autism spectrum and suffers from anxiety. When someone wants to hug her, 9 out of 10 times she will choose a less close positive response, like waving or 'high fives'. She'll make eye contact, but just enough to try and read somebody's face. We went to a Trick and Treat event and suddenly spotted Princess Belle, who is her favorite princess. She doesn't know the fairytale but she loves that Belle also looks like Princess Daisy from Super Mario. So we went and took a picture with Belle and Spiderman. But then my daughter whispered in my ear that she wanted me to ask Belle if they could dance. So they danced and it was the most adorable moment. She looked into Belle's eyes the whole time and the end... Well you'll see. It was beautiful. I hope this little video puts a smile on somebody's face.
