As you begin your spring cleaning, please keep HANDmeUPs Thrift in mind for any items you are looking to part with! HANDmeUPs is a nonprofit whose sole mission is to provide jobs for adults with Autism and other IDDs. This is so important as a recent study found that only 20% of adults with autism are currently employed. We are located at 8320 Litchford Road(next to the Food Lion) and accept donations from 10-5 Monday through Saturday and 12-5 on Sundays. If you haven't visited us yet, please do! You never know what treasure you might find hidden in store! Lastly, we are currently hiring! If you know an adult with Autism or IDD that is seeking employment, please reach out and I'll be happy to email an application and set up an interview.
