| The World Wide Music Contest has launched an international online music contest that is open to all unsigned musicians, songwriters, bands, and singers. 10 ReverbNation artists will be selected to bypass the fan voting round and go straight to the panel of judges (listed below). The artists participating in the WWMC will be promoted through all available channels including their website, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Myspace, Google+, Weibo, and all associated sponsors. At the end of the contest, one (1) grand prize winner will be chosen, and the first, second, and third prizes are provided for each genre below: - Rock & Heavy (Including every genres, Ballads, Acoustic)
- Pop (Including Latin, Country, New Wave, Indie, Brit)
- Electronic (Including Dance, Ambient, New Age, Techno, House, Disco)
- Instrumental
- Hip Hop & Urban (Including R&B and Rap)
- Folk, Lounge, Swing, Ensemble and any other sound not included in the previous categories)
Prizes: - Grand Prize: €10.000 ( $13,718 )
- First Prize: €1.500 ($ 2,057) or musical instruments of equal value
- Second Prize: €700 ($960) or musical instruments of equal value
- Third Prize: €350 ($480) or musical instruments of equal value
The first 10 winners will be made known to the most important music publishers and producers in the world in order to obtain a contract
The 19 Winners and the Top 20 Finalists will be able to sell their music directly on the WWMC website. |
