Even as the world continues to stun me with its callousness, I'm incredibly proud of this collection of stories, which show the diversity of interests of our team, contributors, and customers. As I always do, I return to our foundations to find stable footing: The mission of the Shutterstock blog is to offer "creative guidance in a changing world." With every story and every collection of images, we try to go as deep as possible while staying true to our goals. In fact, for me, that's what makes marketing so interesting: that you can use your platform to delight your customers with ideas and products that expand their worlds. This week, we have many gorgeous collections of photos, including still lifes, a reflection on the color black, and an interview with one of our contributors, whose work has focused on moments in the lives of transgender migrants. Here's hoping that this week, you find something sunny.

Happy creating!
