Event Description:
The 16th Annual Millennium Music Conference & Showcase will be held February 16-19, 2012 at the Radisson Hotel & Convention Center and 30 showcase venues in and around the City of Harrisburg, PA. The Conference features 2 afternoons of music business keynotes, panels, clinics, workshops, day stages, one-on-one mentoring & demo listening sessions, and industry trade show. The Showcases includes new music with 4 nights of showcases featuring over 300 original acts at 30 live music venues. There are at least 50 slots reserved for ReverbNation artists. All acts that submit to the showcase get free registration credentials ($100 value) to attend and participate in the conference whether selected to showcase or not. The laminate is good for all access to the afternoon music business keynotes, panels, clinics, workshops, mentoring sessions, industry trade show and day stages. Registration also includes the conference buzz bag (one per band) , MMC compilation CD and MMC directory. Since 1997, the conference & showcase has become one of the premier music events on the East Coast. MMC has educated and showcased thousands of independent acts and artists. Music industry professionals attend as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience with musicians, registrants and attendees. The fee to submit to the showcase is $25.00 BUT ReverbNation artists who submit now pay only $20.00. The deadline to submit your RPK is extended to November 18, 2011. The community is invited to join in the celebration of emerging talent, independent artists and new music as all the night time showcase performances are open to the public and most are free. The Submission Fee will increase soon so act now. HOW DO I INCREASE MY CHANCES OF BEING SELECTED? Make sure your ReverbNation profile is updated to show a more accurate representation of you and your music. Syncing your Facebook and MySpace pages to your ReverbNation page and adding the #1 Artist Application on Facebook (Band Profile) will boost your Fan Totals instantly and show a more competitive RPK. None of this is mandatory of course but showing the Promoter, Talent Buyer, Label, Licensing Company, Publicist, etc. more about you is always a plus.
