KKFI 90.1FM, a terrestrial and online radio station, was created by a local community group to serve the needs of those ignored or neglected by mainstream commercial radio. KKFI broadcasts at 100,000 watts, making it the most powerful community radio station in the nation. The station has been in existence since 1988, broadcasting its audio stream worldwide. They were recently selected by Paste magazine as one of the top 10 noncommercial radio stations in the country.
KKFI will select 24 ReverbNation artists to be added to the PAL system for DJ use. Selected artists may also be asked to do a phone interview or an in-studio performance.
