Pop-Up Music is a new music library/publisher (PRS registered) providing music for film, TV, advertising and gaming. Their ethos is to provide and produce music that sounds true to the genre. They make folk music that sounds like it's from the Shetland
islands and grunge like it's from Seattle. Pop-Up Music biggest client is television giant BSKYB in the UK and has strong connections with other music libraries around the world including Bedtracks in Canada, Music BLVD in the USA and BEATBOX music in Australia. Pop-Up Music is looking to place artists within the Pop-Up Music catalogue – giving potential sync opportunities for the BSKYB network other TV networks around the world, advertising, film and gaming. *Artist Compensation: * Non-exclusive deal with a 50/50 split. All works are registered with PRS through Pop-up Music as production music (library music) The exclusive deal is a 50/50 deal, in which the writer keeps the writer’s share of the royalties and half of any fees won in relation to synchronising the artist’s music. The writer grants us the licence to promote the music in perpetuity. Exclusive deals are what sub publishers around the world expect us to have with artists and as our ambition is global, that’s what we all need. |
