KUYI Hopi Radio seeks culturally influenced and Tribal music for Airplay!

Event Description:

KUYI Hopi Radio, a 69,000 watt coverage, is upward of 116,000 listeners in Navajo, Coconino & Apache counties containing the Hopi & Navajo Reservations, portions of Grand Canyon National Park & the cities of Flagstaff & Winslow. KUYI Hopi Radio is seeking two non-native ReverbNation performers and four ReverbNation Tribal performers for airplay, in-person/phone interviews, and/or in-studio performances. Selected artists will also be able to participate in CD and merch giveaways to listeners, and routing publicity in Arizona and New Mexico.

The station is looking for content that fights for cultural & language survival while educating & revitalizing Native issues. KUYI's preference is for music that reflects our audiences' ethics, intellect and hope for the future while improving American's understanding & appreciation of indigenous cultures.

Selection Criteria: Positive message music, FCC clean lyrical content, Musicianship, High-quality production value, and Outside of the mainstream
