Event Description:

The gaming veteran that helped create the cinematic look and feel for Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, San Andreas, Max Payne I & II, Midnight Club Franchise, Manhunt, Red Dead Revolver, The Warriors, Alan Wake, and Homefront is now breaking new ground in gaming with the suspenseful action/adventure thriller 1979 Revolution. Ten (10) ReverbNation acts will have their music placed in the game score, soundtrack and/or in gameplay of the upcoming game 1979 Revolution.

The game is based on the real life events of the Iranian revolution in 1979 so the search is for music with themes of unity, strength, justice and standing up for what you believe in. The main character Reza is a fan of western American culture and popular music of the time (1970s/1980s) so the music style should be in that vein or sampled/stylized music from then.

If your music is placed in the actual game play, it will be used as part of underground resistance tapes which contain valuable in game information. Your music will help disguise the true intent of the tapes.

Additionally, we are looking for score and cinematic music to use behind the game play itself. This should be instrumental and in line with popular movie and game scores.

Selection Criteria: The music that is submitted will determine the exact usage
