Event Description:
Full Sail University, located near Orlando, FL, is looking for bands to come to their campus and perform in their Recording Session Labs in exchange for free recording time and a master of the multi-track sessions created in ProTools. Bands of every genre ranging from Rock to R&B are encouraged to submit, as the students would like the chance to work with as many genres as possible. Bands must have a 3-piece minimum rhythm section to track live drums, guitar, bass or keys. The Artist Relations Department at Full Sail University aims to book 30 ReverbNation bands per month. Desired Genres: Alternative, Blues, Christian/Gospel, Classical, Comedy, Country, Folk, Jazz, Latin, Metal, Other, Pop, R&B/Soul, Rock and Reggae Selection Criteria: Genre appropriateness, Minimum of a 3-piece rhythm section If Selected: Artists will need to sign Full Sail University's Artist Agreement and will be responsible for all travel expenses. Full Sail University offers Bachelor and Master degrees in several different disciplines including a Bachelors degree in Recording Arts. In this program, students learn all aspects of audio equipment, recording and microphone techniques.
