The 17th Annual Millennium Music Conference & Showcase will be held February 14-17, 2013 at the Radisson Hotel & Convention Center and 30 showcase venues in and around Harrisburg, PA. The weekend conference features 2 afternoons with more than 30 music business panels, clinics, workshops, day stages, mentoring & demo listening sessions and an industry trade show. The event celebrates new music with 3 nights of showcase performances featuring over 300 original acts at 30 live music venues. Last February, MMC selected 100+ ReverbNation Artists to perform. Submit your RPK now for a chance to play this upcoming February! All acts that submit to perform at the showcase get free registration credentials ($100 value) to attend and participate in the conference whether selected to showcase or not. The laminate is good for all access to the afternoon music business keynotes, panels, clinics, workshops, mentoring sessions, industry trade show and day stage. Registration also includes the conference buzz bag, MMC compilation CD and MMC directory. There is no compensation for showcasing and acts must pay their own expenses. Since 1997, the conference & showcase has become one of the premier music events on the East Coast. MMC has educated and showcased thousands of independent acts and artists. In Hundreds of musicians, students, and registered guests from around the country will participate. More than 150 music industry professionals attend each year as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience. Past keynote speakers include Bill McGathy (Manager, 3 Doors Down, Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd) , Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads; Producer, Violent Femmes, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, No Doubt), Pat DiNizio (The Smithereens), Brett Scallions (Fuel), Matt Pinfield (MTV), Michael Glabicki (Rusted Root) to name a few. Past performers include Godsmack, Fuel, Halestorm, Good Charlotte, Ryan Bingham, Melody Gardot, Keaton Simons, Rachael Sage, Future Rock, Jesse Malin & St. Mark's Social Club, Kingsfoil, Framing Hanley, Rachael Sage, Keaton Simons,Teddy Geiger and more. The community is invited to join in the celebration of emerging talent, independent artists and new music as all showcase performances are open to the public and most are free.
