@ the Center 411 Hillsborough St., Raleigh The Grand Opening of the Center's library, the only LGBT Community Library in the Triangle. Begninning today library cards will be issued to Triangle residents who reside in Wake, Durham, Chatham and Orange Counties. At 6:30 PM author Tom Mendicino will be reading excerpts from his book Probation, a smart, engaging, witty and unusual novel set in North Carolina. This timely and provocative novel explores how a closeted gay man's decision to marry impacts his life and the people he loves, and what happens when the lie unravels. Mr. Mendicino will be signing any books purchased during the evening. Saturday, October 15 @ the Center 411 Hillsborough St., Raleigh 6-7 PM LGBT PARENTS WINE AND CHEESE RECEPTION at the the Center.
