It's a photographer's job to capture a moment. The ebbing motion of a busy street—click—all new people appear at once. That perfect golden light—click—the clouds roll in to change the mood completely. Two fighters stand in a ring—click—one of them leaps for the ropes. The moment passes, but the image is captured, almost as if by magic. Almost. This week, we look through four different lenses as they lie in wait for perfect moments. One photographer captures the beauty and vibrancy of Guatemala in a set of stunning images. We learn how to freeze the perpetual motion of the boxer and how to embrace the unpredictability of weather and tame it in a photo. Even the stillness of the building in front of you requires a measured hand to capture it at its best. The moments pass, but we click, click, click in the hope of capturing it all.
