Event Description:
From producer by Dawn Bird at B.E.ZEE Productions, know for their film Bread Thieves and writer Rick Anthony comes a hilarious comedy called Rock Bottom. This project is funded and will be shot in Saskatchewan, Canada beginning in mid-July under an accelarted filming schedule and released by the end of the year. The production team behind the film would like to place four (4) songs. All genres welcome, as these songs need to be an eclectic blend of music. All songs will be used for opening / closing credits as well as montages within the film itself. The trailer will be re-cut once filming is complete, and as a result the production team will also be looking for one (1) song to use in the new trailer as well. Artist Compensation: 0-$1000 per sync license depending on prominence and use within the film. Please note – Artists must own the master rights to their songs. Selection Criteria: Originality, Songwriting, Vocals, Performance, and Overall Likeability Synopsis: Scarred by a traumatic (albeit hilarious) childhood experience, Cameron lives life according to two goals set by his six year old self: Make a million dollars; find the most beautiful girl in the world. Eighteen years later, the womanizing young executive's career is derailed when he's caught having sex with his boss’s daughter and is demoted to project manager in the dysfunctional and long forgotten I.T. department. Cameron begins to realize there may be more to life than money and women as he embarks on quest after quest to find his true calling, and the group of misfits bands together to save all their jobs from the spiteful new VP, who also happens to be Cameron's arch-rival.
