Event Description:

The Cutting Edge C.E. (formerly the Cutting Edge Music Business Conference) has reserved 75 performance slots for ReverbNation artists/bands that submit their RPK.

Cutting Edge C.E. was started in 1993 as a conference dedicated to educating musicians and music professionals about the latest trends in the music industry. Since its inception, it has evolved into entertainment workshops covering legal issues, filmmaking, interactive applications and media business education. Cutting Edge C.E. brings together established and aspiring entertainment professionals; it is as much about bringing people in the entertainment business together as it is about the business of entertainment.

Just Confirmed:
2012 Keynote Speaker: Kevin Lyman, Vans Warped Tours (North America's longest running tour)
2012 Keynote Interviewee: Michael Koch, CEO, Entertainment One US (eOne Music is the largest independent record company in the United States)

New Orleans is the home of the Cutting Edge C.E. In New Orleans, music is more than business; it's also cultural expression. Every artist that performs during the Cutting Edge C.E. becomes a part of New Orleans cultural history.

Each band member receives a registration for performing.

Who is in Attendance: Entertainment executives (music, film, interactive), attorneys, media, and musicians.

NOTE: Each artist/band that submits but is not selected to perform, will receive a discount to the conference in their Decline Message.
